Navarra Gardens Styled Shoot | Willamina, Oregon
One day while checking my email, one of them caught my eye. It was for a styled wedding shoot at Navarra Gardens in Willamina. I’m not going to lie, I definitely thought it was a scam, because I thought this place had closed down, but as it turns out, it’s still there, going strong and gorgeous as ever!
I bought two tickets, one for me and one for my daughter/assistant/second shooter, Cheyenne to go and see what it was all about. I loved the invitation graphic with all the images and colors, it was really inviting. I had been a second shooter at a wedding that was held here many years prior, so I was eager to get back there and take my time getting some really good shots. This was also a really good time to help my daughter hone her skills and guide her in the right direction with angles, posing, and talking to people.
This place is seriously like something out of a fairytale. Not even kidding, I mean, just look at the dolled-up tree swing! There were a bunch of different stations set up with different backgrounds, decor, and couples. There were also a bunch of other photographers there, so it probably felt like paparazzi to the models lol!

It’s one of my favorite parts of a wedding, but unfortunately, not many people bring the set with them on their big day, so I was really excited to get a shot to show what it can look like! I love being able to set everything up and take my time.
Photo Contest Runner-Up!
One of the perks of this styled shoot was that there was also a photo contest. I thought it couldn’t hurt to enter, so I chose the best 100 photos I took and entered them in. This photo won a runner-up prize! I really wasn’t expecting anything, but super excited to have a photo picked!
All of the models were amazing and I’m so glad we got to be a part of this event. I can’t wait until the next one!
