Hey there, it’s been a minute! I have barely had time to sit and write anything, but now that the busy season is winding down, here I am! I just have to share this session because I fricken love it. This has been a place I have wanted to visit for such a long time and this session gave me an excuse to drive 3 hours to see it in all it’s glory, AND stop for lunch to visit some friends in Redmond!

Kendallyn + Austin

These two contacted me about possibly being their wedding photographer and obviously I said yes, but then they mentioned engagement photos. Well, duh, I’m not going to say no to that, but when Austin said, “Kendallyn has been wanting to do photos at Smith Rock.” I got so excited. Probably a little too excited lol.
Bro - ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY, yes please!
I had to Google about the weather there in late October, but all of those reddit comments didn’t steer us wrong, it was gooorrrgeous. It was actually way warmer than we all thought it was going to be.

I got to know Austin and Kendallyn a little better throughout this shoot and I love that I get a chance to hang out with couples before their wedding. I really believe that it helps all of us be at ease with each other and helps the couple get used to having a camera in their face lol. Jk, jk, but seriously, this session went really well and I’m so glad we were able to get it scheduled!
