Galentines
No I didn’t spell that wrong lol.
It’s Valentines, but without the dudes
That’s right, it’s a ladies only party-
Sorry, not sorry!
A few days before Valentine’s Day I went to this party. It’s not just any every day get-together though, it was a Galentines Party. Ladies only. Invite only type of thing. Are you intrigued yet?! This was my second year going. After the party last year I had decided that day I was going to go again. You might not know me very well, but that is HUGE for me to decide that early, so this whole shindig was out of the norm for me! But it’s so FUN!
There’s only a few guidelines:
Try to wear Valentines colors: any red, pink or white, sequins are a plus! Because obviously there’s going to be a PHOTO BOOTH!
Bring a finger food! Sweet or savory, something to share with everyone there, drinks are provided (always amazing btw.)
Favorite Things Gift Exchange: Pick one of your favorite things around $10. Buy 3 of the same thing & wrap them separately. You give 3 items, you get 3 different items. It’s actually pretty awesome because everything is so different!
Prizes for the one lucky lady with the best “favorite item” & another for the best wrapping! We all keep those in mind while unwrapping & vote for our favorites!
Sooo basically have some snacks, a little bit of bubbly & get presents! What could be better?! Oh yeah, also hanging out with awesome ladies!
I think I love this party because it’s just something different & a good way to try new things you wouldn’t normally buy! & all the women there are amazing! I’ve talked to a bunch & all of them are just so nice & welcoming. One of the most asked questions is how you know the host lol! It’s a really good way to get to know other women & just hang around for a few hours & have a good time connecting.

We always get a group photo in the photo booth & this year was a bit of a challenge squishing everyone together but I think it turned out great!
Anywho…I just wanted to share something fun I did & I can’t wait until next year!! I hope everyone that went had a good time too!
