A Sweet Fall Family Session | Salem, Oregon
I have said it before & I will say it again, I love what I do! Even though I am pretty introverted, I love being able to meet a family for a session and learn about them as we go. I love connecting with them as we walk around & find good spots to take photos. Whether it’s a solo senior or an extended family, every person is so different, & I love to see the dynamics of everyone.
Recently, I was able to connect with Jennifer & her family for this sweet fall session. At first, she was just looking for senior photos for her son, but it turned into a family/senior session which is fine with me! After some chatting, we decided Minto-Brown Island Park would be the best for what they were looking for.
Meet the Henderson Family!
They are a pretty special group of people. I have to tell you; this family is just the sweetest! Jennifer was so excited about getting family photos done & her smile! Oh, my goodness, I just love it! Even though being in front of the camera is uncomfortable for pretty much everyone, they took to it like it was completely normal lol.

They also brought along Nana, who is just a doll!
I have to say, she is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Can she be my Nana? I’ve never actually had one, so if I could be an honorary granddaughter of hers, that would be great lol.
Sessions like this, the ones that are so easy & with amazing people just leave me feeling energized & excited to bring my cameras home to edit them right away. I literally sit at my desk or on my couch with my laptop going through all the photos, smiling ear to ear, remembering the session. It honestly makes my heart so happy!

If you or anyone you know needs senior photos done before the yearbook deadline, let me know! I’m trying to pack in as many as we can before that so everyone gets the photos they want instead of the regular school one, or none at all!
